Why Detour?

DETOUR is a luxurious, new Fontaine Pajot ELBA 45 catamaran. It has four air conditioned cabins with four heads (bathroom in normal speak). The salon features an inside-outside concept with sliding doors that open to create a large, shaded area to eat, visit, or simply relax and read a book. When sailing, the upper lounge is the place to be. DETOUR is equipped with a generator, water maker, and electric dinghy lift/swim platform! To be more environmentally conscious, DETOUR is equipped with 1200 Watts of solar panels. This enables you to sail, run the refrigerators, and play the stereo without running the generator.

People often ask us, what if we don't know how to sail? Fear not. When we say that one of our trusted Captains will take you to the very best spots, we mean it. When you arrive, the Captain will meet with you to come up with a custom itinerary based on what you are most interested in seeing and experiencing.
​Really want to be spoiled? Let an amazing chef provide three gourmet meals a day and refreshing drinks for you and your guests. You will not be sorry! Your chef will contact you in advance to discuss meal preparations and ensure meals conform to any dietary restrictions.
Bareboat Charters

Experienced sailor? Know how to Navigate? Charter a Luxury Catamaran on your own and make your own adventure!
For experienced sailors, Detour is available for charter without a paid Captain. Bareboat charters are available for those who have bareboat certificates or commensurate experience. Make your own itinerary or follow one of the suggested routes. Want to stay another day at a place that piques your fancy? On a bareboat charter, it's entirely up to you.
