How to Get to the BVI's

It's easy to get to some of the best sailing in the world!

There are three primary ways to travel to the British Virgin Islands.  The first, and most utilized, is to fly into Cyril King International Airport (STT) in St. Thomas, USVI. From there, catch a ferry to either Road Town, Tortola, or the West End at Soper’s Hole, Tortola.  The Ferry Terminal on St. Thomas is a short 10-minute taxi ride from the Airport. The last ferry from St. Thomas to the British Virgin Islands usually departs between 4-5 pm, so you will want to plan your arrival flight accordingly.

Another option is to fly into St. Thomas and then hire a private water taxi to take you and your crew to the British Virgin Islands.  It is a bit more expensive, but the private water taxis are usually able to work around your schedule a bit better.

The third route to the British Virgin Islands is to fly directly into Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport (EIB) and then take a taxi to Nanny Cay or your Hotel.  This is a smaller airport.  It primarily provides service to the local islands, Puerto Rico,  St. Thomas, and St. Martin/Sint Maarten.  Sadly, it does not have scheduled service to the mainland US.
